About Us
We run four pharmacies in the Boston area. Our mission is to provide outstanding service for every customer. We do this by creating a great working environment for our team. We are always looking for ways to reduce operating costs and errors, simplify tedious but low value tasks for the team, and streamline customer service workflows.
We had already automated one location with robotic fill for our fast movers and changed our pharmacy management system to one that works best for our unique workflows. Next we identified will call and Day 10/Day 14 return to stock processes as the two critical areas to improve.
Our goal was to develop a robust, inexpensive, and flexible system that our team could quickly get up and running at each location. We wanted to hit a total cost of ownership to generate a return on investment within about a year. We did not want the added complexity, cost, redundancy, or security risk of integrating with our existing pharmacy system. The result is SimpLED.
SimpLED has doubled the productivity of our cashiers and technicians. Customers are so thrilled with our improved service they tell their friends and we can easily manage the increasing volume. Our staff is much happier they are now free to focus on taking care of patients.
We are looking to share SimpLED with other pharmacies who want to use technology to improve their operations and customer service.
